To our loyal Nama Sake friends,

Thank you for your continued support while we have navigated the challenges surrounding the renovation and construction of our building. Throughout it all, our goal has been to provide the quality of food, hospitality, and service that you have come to expect from Nama Sake.

We had hoped to remain open through the end of October. However, due to circumstances outside of our control, we can no longer maintain the level of quality and service we expect of ourselves.

With heavy hearts, we have therefore made the decision to temporarily close Nama Sake at our current location while the building completes its renovation, which we expect sometime next year.

Our final day of service will be Friday, September 11. We hope you will join us for one last amazing meal and an opportunity to say goodbye—and thank you—to our wonderful staff.

At the same time, we are excited about what comes next.

We will soon be opening an offshoot of Nama featuring sophisticated Japanese cuisine from a new food truck located across the street from the cancer center. Lunch will be a major focus, with an extensive menu available for takeout or to enjoy on the patio. We will also offer dinner options until approximately 6:30 p.m..

We haven't settled on a name for the new concept yet, but you can expect some familiar Nama Sake favorites along with new dishes. Most importantly, the kitchen will continue to be led by our current Executive Chef, Kenichiro Soeda—Chef Ken.

Nama Sake gift cards may be used through our final day at the restaurant and will also be honored at the new food truck.

Most of all, thank you for supporting Nama Sake and our team. We are incredibly grateful to our staff for everything they have contributed, and we wish each of them the very best as they move on to their next opportunities.

This is not goodbye to Nama—it is simply the beginning of our next chapter.
